Everything You Need To Know About ChatGPT3

Chat GPT & SEO

ChatGPT3 is ‌creating big buzz online, and its easy to see why. The chatbot uses advanced artificial intelligence (AI) to mimic human speech and behavior, so it feels like you’re speaking with a real person. It has the potential to help businesses streamline their existing systems and automate tedious tasks.  It is widely regarded as being the most lifelike AI engine to date and has a variety of uses in the business sector. So what does this mean for SEO

In this article, we’ll explain what ChatGPT3 is, how it works, its implications in the SEO industry, and why you may want to be cautious about the tool.

What is ChatGPT3?

ChatGPT3, or Generative Pre-training Transformer 3, is a revolutionary AI that was introduced in November of 2023 by OpenAI, a non-profit artificial intelligence research company founded in 2015. ChatGPT is remarkable in that it can accept context, answer follow up questions, admit mistakes, challenge incorrect statements, and reject inappropriate requests.

ChatGPT3 was designed to mimic human speech patterns and conversations; however, the technology is very versatile. It can perform various functions, from creating intricate stories to brainstorming keyword research. Because of these capabilities, ChatGPT3 has the potential to be used in a variety of different industries. Some of the world’s largest companies and organizations, including Microsoft, use OpenAI’s GPT3 model to power their search engines and streamline their applications.

How does ChatGPT3 work?

ChatGPT3 was built on top of OpenAI’s GPT3 family of language models and has been fine-tuned using both supervised and reinforced learning techniques.

So what does that mean?

Fine-tuning in AI is an approach to transfer learning. which means that ChatGPT was developed with the help of human “trainers.” Supervised learning is achieved by providing the model with conversations in which the trainers played both AI assistant and querant. During the reinforcement step, human trainers rated responses that ChatGPT had generated previously. These rankings were then used to create reward models, which were then used to fine-tune the chatbot’s responses further.

In addition to this, OpenAI has also made the chatbot available to the public so that they can continue to gather data from users to fine-tune and perfect ChatGPT further. Users can upvote or downvote any response they receive from ChatGPT and leave feedback.

Pros & Cons of ChatGPT3

ChatGPT3 is a mixed bag of tricks. It can provide a lot of value for a company, but it has limitations. Here are some pros and cons to keep in mind when using ChatGPT3.

Pro: It Can Help Brainstorm

The biggest help that ChatGPT can offer for SEO is the sowing of ideas. It can help someone brainstorm for things like keyword research or even help create more engaging content strategies. It’s important to note here that while AI can generate content, it should be used to supplement writers, not replace them completely.

Con: AI Hallucinations

One thing to be wary of when dealing with AI is something called “AI Hallucination“. AI hallucination refers to the tendency for AI generators to generate responses that are either completely nonsensical, or worse, plausible-sounding but factually inaccurate. OpenAI admits that ChatGPT is, like any AI, prone to AI hallucination under certain circumstances.

Pro: Ease of Use

One of the biggest advantages of ChatGPT is what it carries is in its ease of use. It is simple, and intuitive, meaning that any company that decides to use it will spend less time training employees or dealing with the technology itself. This is a huge advantage that ChatGPT has over other AI generators. This is especially important for companies that may not have the resources or expertise to deal with AI technology.

Con: Outdated Information

The biggest disadvantage of ChatGPT is its inaccuracy. While it does perform well as an AI generator, it does not always provide accurate answers to questions that users ask. This is because, unlike other AI engines, ChatGPT has a limited database of information. It currently can only pull information thats relevant up to the year 2021. OpenAI has stated that ChatGPT has limitations regarding accuracy, which means there are still many situations where it will not work as intended or expected. This can lead to confusion and frustration among users who are looking for a quick response from their chatbot.

Pro: Flexibility and Customization

ChatGPT is also highly customizable, which allows users to tailor their experience with the chatbot to their needs. It can be used for multiple purposes, such as customer support or marketing campaigns, and there are many options for adding features, such as an FAQ page or an analytics dashboard.

Con: Algorithmic Bias

ChatGPT is also prone to algorithmic bias. In AI, algorithmic bias refers to systemic and repeatable errors that create unfair or “privileged” outcomes. This means that ChatGPT can exhibit certain biases and make the same mistakes over and over again. Algorithmic bias is something that should be considered when using any AI for SEO purposes. One way to mitigate this is to check your work. Never take an AI response as a fact until you have checked it independently.

Is ChatGPT3 free

ChatGPT3 is currently free to use with some restrictions. The free version has limited functionality and is only intended for personal use. It offers limited prompts and slower response times.

To use Chat GPT3 for commercial purposes or in a business environment, users must upgrade to the premium version released earlier this month. The ChatGPT3 premium version costs $20 and offers unlimited chatbot access, faster responses, and priority access to features as they are released. Currently, the only way to get a subscription to ChatGPT Plus is to join a waitlist.

Should I use ChatGPT3 for my business?

This is a bit of a nuanced question, so we’re going to offer some nuanced advice. ChatGPT3 is a good option for businesses looking to automate some SEO-related tasks. It’s also a great tool for content writers or anyone who wants to generate ideas for blog posts, articles, or social media posts. However, AI should be used with caution when utilizing it for SEO.

Why?

Artificial intelligence is an emerging technology. While it can help us bridge the gap between people and machines, it’s still in its infancy. A tool is only as good as its operator, so don’t expect too much from a chatbot. ChatGPT is a tool like any other, and its limitations must be understood in order to use it effectively. It’s not a replacement for human interaction, nor does it have all the answers. You must use your judgment and knowledge of your industry to make it an effective tool.

At Cadence, we recommend a hybridized approach. Use ChatGPT to help start ideas, or to help with content creation, but don’t rely solely on it. This is because SERPs are starting to focus more on AI-generated content. While Google has stated that they don’t penalize websites for using AI to generate content, they are focusing on quality over quantity in regard to content. Ultimately, you want to ensure that any content you produce provides value for the end user, regardless of how it is made.

We also recommend that you always make sure to stay up-to-date with the latest developments in SEO, as search engines are also still trying to figure out how to deal with artificial intelligence and machine learning.
